Swap Meet Information

Welcome to the 2023 Antique Radio and Vintage Market Swap Meet at Shoreline Community College at NW Innis Arden Way. Sellers can show up starting at 6 am and can pay at the gate. You will have 2 parking spaces: one to park your vehicle and one to sell from.

Buyers can show up starting at 9 am, will have free admission, free parking and can also reach the swap meet via bus.

We want to thank Delfino’s Pizza who will be on site selling their famous Chicago-style pizza via food truck starting at 10 am.

At 10 am, we will have a high voltage demonstration including a Jacob’s ladder, Van de Graff generator and Tesla coil in our classroom. Come see what all of the excitement is about!

At 11 am, Matthew D’Asaro will be giving a short presentation demonstrating the “ultimate tube tester” – a Tektronix 576 curve tracer! He will demonstrate in real-time what the current-voltage characteristics of a vacuum tube look like when plotted on a curve tracer. He will also demonstrate – graphically how the curves of a tube change as the tube gets weak, and how tubes can be matched using a curve tracer. Anyone curious about how tubes work (or just want to see a bunch of cool vintage gear in use) should attend.

Be sure to stop by our Head Quarters to see demonstrations, ask questions and find out more about our club. Come see our Hand On Technology exhibit and tune a vintage radio, type on a manual typewriter, use radio equipment from WWII and other analog items. Come see what vintage technology is all about!
